Spring Ballet Workshop – October 9

Join us for a one day Enchanting Forest themed Spring Ballet Workshop! Get in touch if you require earlier and later pick up and drop off times.

Primary to Grade 2 RAD Ballet (approx. 6-8yrs) -

(9:00am - 12:30pm)

9:00 - 9:15am - Drop off from 9am

9:15 - 10:30am - Ballet Class featuring:

• Ballet Technique at the Barre – finding strength and balance with graceful posture

• Flower Petals – guiding delicate hand placement and expressive port de bras

• Stepping Stone Walks – training transfer of weight and beautiful ballet walks, imagining crossing a magical forest path with wooden percussion

• Ribbons – exploring flowing arm movements, coordination, and musicality through enchanting patterns

• Animal Inspirations – light jumps and stretches inspired by forest creatures (birds, deer, butterflies)

• Magic Breaths – practicing breath and stillness to connect imagination with technique

• Learn an Enchanted Forest Animal Ballet – weaving all the skills into a story ballet

10:30 - 11:15am - Lyrical Class - Learn an expressive lyrical style dance

11:15 - 11:30pm - Morning tea break

11:30 - 12:30pm - Enchanting Forest Craft Session - Create your own Floral Garland Decoration!

12:30pm - Pick up

This workshop is for dancers who are in Primary to Grade 2 RAD Ballet (approx. 6 - 8yrs).
